Course Description

In this semester course, you will learn about the global consequences of terrorism; the risks the world presents to its inhabitants and how these can be managed; how New Zealand's history influenced and continues to influence the way we think and act; and how the New Zealand economy is part and parcel of a larger global economy.

You will learn to:
• Investigate natural events and how they affect the local environment and community
• Gain an understanding of the reasons behind terrorism and how people react to these types of events
• Explore what life was like for the ANZACs and the Turkish during the Gallipoli campaign
• Use your creative flare to design and critique your own designs to meet a specific brief
