Level 3 Computer Aided Design

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr G. Brinsden

This course is provided as a level 3 opportunity for students who have completed the level 2 course in Product Design or DVC. Allowing them to apply the skills they have accumulated at this level with a view to pursuing careers in the trades or university. The standards offered will enable students to negotiate their study to suit their interests and strengths, each student will be expected to achieve a minimum of 16 credits.

You will learn to:
• This will depend on the range of standards selected but each student will be expected to extend their understanding of the materials studied and refine their practical skills.


Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$10 to cover consumables used in 3D printers, there will also be an opportunity to purchase a one year licence for SolidWorks at $10

Completed level 2 course in Product Design or DVC.
