Course Description

You will learn to: 

  • research like an historian by focusing on Civil Rights in the USA from Rosa Parks to Black Lives Matter
  •  analyse different perspectives through exploring Māori activism and the occupation of Takaparawhā Bastion Point 
  •  think critically by interpreting different stories, focusing on the 1981 Springbok Tour 
  • explore different aspects of World War Two

*Optional trip to a local history site
