Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Dr M. Davison.
You will learn to:
• think about the benefits of philosophy, especially the ideas of Socrates and his place in ancient Athens
• make connections between the classical and modern worlds by focusing on Roman art and architecture
• analyse ideas of propaganda and power and what they can tell us about the emperors of Rome
