Level 3 Outdoor Education
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr T. Brandt.
You will learn to:
- Examine contemporary leadership principles applied while teaching junior students an outdoor skill and while caving.
- Participate in tough guy/gal to meet performance standards for level 3
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through participation in the Auckland Tough Guy/Gal Competition
- Analyse issues in safety management for outdoor survival skills in a bush setting to devise safety management strategies.
Recommended Prior Learning
PE uniform is compulsory.
