You will learn to:
• apply skill learning principles, anatomy and bio-mechanical principles in a sporting context
• use methods and principles of training to improve your performance in a 3km run or 400m swim
• plan and teach a junior class using leadership strategies
• perform an activity to meet national standards

Recommended Prior Learning Students must have achieved a minimum of 16 achievement standard credits in Level 1 Physical Education: Outdoor Education or Physical Education or all achievement standards in Sports Leadership at Merit level. Physical Education uniform is compulsory. Entry to this course is at the discretion of the Head of Faculty.
